Captain America Study

A few years back I took a road trip from Austin to L.A. and on my way back stopped in Tuscon to visit a massive aircraft graveyard just outside of town. I took tons of pictures of every kind of aircraft imaginable, including a weirdly shaped 1950s rescue helicopter, which is the focus of this piece. It just seemed perfect as a version of Captain America's shield. 24x24" collage on masonite.
